TeleStar ProbeTeleStar® Probe is a self-contained off-axis partial coherence interferometric range sensor for surface contour measurement. TeleStar Probe offers measured point resolution in the sub-micron (< 0.1 micron) range, providing excellent performance on both specular and light-scattering diffuse surfaces. The probe is fast and accurate, quickly scanning up to 500 data points per second with 1.0 micron accuracy and 0.1 micron repeatability.

TeleStar Probe features a 25 mm constant working distance, and its shallow return angle allows measurement deep inside bores and blind holes. Mounted in a mechanical deployment mechanism, the probe retracts out of the way when not in use.

TeleStar Probe uses the same advanced interferometric technology available previously only in through-the-lens form on OGP SmartScope® Quest, and makes it now available in a more cost-effective off-axis form on SmartScope ZIP® Advance, significantly enhancing ZIP Advance sensor capability and measurement versatility.
