TeleStar Probe

Self-contained off-axis partial coherence interferometric range sensor for surface contour measurement

TeleStar Probe

TeleStar Probe is a self-contained off-axis partial coherence interferometric range sensor for surface contour measurement. The probe offers sub-micron resolution, providing excellent performance on both specular and light-scattering diffuse surfaces. This probe is fast and accurate, quickly scanning up to 500 data points per second with 1.0 micron accuracy and 0.1 micron repeatability.

On SmartScope systems, the probe can either be mounted fixed or in a mechanical deployment mechanism so that it can be retracted out of the way when not in use.

Additionally, TeleStar® Probe can be configured in the VersaFlex™ articulating multisensor array on FlexPoint systems allowing for advanced interferometric technology on a CMM unlike anything else in the industry.

The P-25 TeleStar Probe offers interchangeable objective lenses for different applications and up to 70 mm constant working distance.
