OGP® EVOLVE Design is GD&T validation software that identifies tolerancing issues and provides recommendations. Explanations are linked to the ASME Y14.5 and ISO 1101 standards embedded within the software.

• For PMI-based CAD models containing GD&T data, EVOLVE Design will proof the tolerances and deliver visual alerts for errors and warnings. Each issue is explained and linked directly to the applicable section of the standards, with comprehensive reports available for all findings. Users can correct errors, update the CAD model, and export it with revised tolerances.
• For CAD models without GD&T, EVOLVE Design adds validated tolerances and outputs an updated GD&T-ready model.
• When paired with ZONE3® Pro, the model and validated tolerances transfer seamlessly to generate inspection routines based on PMI and the proofed tolerances in EVOLVE Design. ZONE3 step templates sync automatically and can be defined in EVOLVE Design as measurement strategies to further automate programming.
• EVOLVE Design tools, such as the Point Generator and Tolerance Stack Up, provide insight into the impact of tolerance changes.
